A long time ago I learned that Design was not about me, but about my clients.

Hi, I am Roger Long, and my job is to tell your story through design and architecture. I have led large teams for internationally renowned architectural firms for the last 30 years.

It's so fun to dig deep into the history, context, and connections that always provide the starting point for the design. It is fascinating! The project that is in front of me, on my desk is always the most important and typically the one that I fall in love with, no matter the size!

I started my own office with the HOPE that you will allow me the PRIVILEGE and the HONOR of telling YOUR STORY.

We so appreciated Rogers skill and creativity in both projects; his eye for detail and design are exceptional. Start of construction was July 30, 2015 and occupancy permit by March 9, 2016! Construction cost came in under estimate. We love this house and the way it sets on our site, with views of the Lake/River from first floor bedroom, kitchen, dining and family room; and second floor two bedrooms also have views. Kitchen has cherry custom cabinets and granite counter tops. Kitchen window to East has a view of the wooded hillside, and the daily turkey and deer processions going down to the Lake for a drink. Wow! Can’t say enough about how amazing he is to work with. We wanted to open up our little fixer upper but we weren’t quite sure how. We decided we needed help from Roger Long Architects. He drew up a plan for us in no time and worked with us with what we wanted. He had ideas that were genius. We were so happy and love our home now!
